Aurora Spa and Bertiny Spa

Spas have a long history in Třeboň; here you will find two spa facilities that specialize in treating musculoskeletal disorders. Both spas also utilize the same natural resource—peat—which is found in abundance in the Třeboň region. A special bath is prepared from this peat, which then warms and improves blood circulation throughout the body. The result is overall relaxation of the muscles and joints and improved mobility.

The Aurora Spa was opened in 1975 to further expand treatment capacity. The complex provides its guests with all services “under one roof.” Here you will find medical care and spa treatments (hydrotherapy with a rehabilitation pool for group exercises, massages, peat, electrotherapy, ultrasound, hydrojet mechanical massages, physical therapy, a gym for group exercises, a fitness center, etc.). There is also a newly renovated restaurant, a café, a day bar, a bowling alley, a spa shop, a hair salon, a beauty salon, pedicure, and manicure services.

A major attraction is:

• Swimming pool (25 m) with slightly salty water, which, unlike traditional freshwater chlorine technology, does not cause irritation to the skin and mucous membranes.
• The Water World offers a variety of aquatic attractions, such as a wild river, a bubble massage bench, wall hydromassage, water spouts, a water mushroom, a 40-meter-long water slide (access for children aged 10 and older), and whirlpools for 6 and 12 people. The Water World is connected to the swimming pool, and the water here is also slightly salty.
• A steam bath for relaxation and stress relief is located in the swimming pool area.

Afternoon treatments at the Třeboň Spa

The spa also offers afternoon treatments for tourists and visitors to Třeboň. Afternoon treatments take place every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

• You can take advantage of the treatments without a medical examination or doctor’s recommendation
• Afternoon treatments are open to everyone
• No appointment is necessary
