Penzion Dvorce is located in the heart of one of the most valuable natural areas in the Czech Republic. This area forms a significant part of the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area and Biosphere Reserve and is among the most important sites for birdwatching not only in our country but also in Central Europe. Třeboňsko is a landscape of ponds—there are more than 400 of them here—and home to an incredible diversity of life. 280 bird species have been recorded here, of which more than 180 are nesting species. During migration periods, especially in the fall, tens of thousands of waterbirds gather on the surfaces of the ponds. Just take a walk along the water and watch.
